Water Street Wines

We are passionate about wine and dedicated to quality. We evaluate hundreds of possibilities each year and select only wines that are delicious in their own right and harmonious companions to our food.

We are committed to value. We make a special effort to offer wines that all of us can afford for everyday drinking. The foundation of our list is a rotation of outstanding house white and red wines that we offer for $5 a glass. All of our wines by the glass are generous 6-ounce pours. On Tuesdays, we sell many of our bottles at half price.

We are fanatical about wine service. We maintain careful temperature control and use Riedel stemware crafted to complement the styles of wine we serve. We decant bottles of red wine at table, to stimulate full expression of aromas and flavors.

We love Washington wines. We feature wines from acclaimed producers such as Andrew Will, L'Ecole No. 41, Leonetti, McCrea, Quilceda Creek, and Woodward Canyon, and from rising stars such as Betz, Cadence, Dusted Valley, Forgeron, Latitude 46 N, Rulo, and Syncline. We are proud to offer the Long Shadows red wine portfolio.

We reach out around the world. We are sustained by the touchstone wines of Europe and excited by the energy and possibilities of the Pacific Rim and Southern Hemisphere.
